Why Charleston

Led by empathy, intuition, and purpose, Mom Me Minute was founded in 2024 by Liz Donovan as a modern answer to an age-old need reliable, trusted help at home. What began as a heartfelt solution for mothers has evolved into a service for individuals seeking more ease, flow, and support in daily life.

Charleston, South Carolina, is a city that values connection and slower living. Yet, like so many communities, many families and professionals here still carry the invisible weight of “doing it all.” Mom Me Minute was created to restore that sense of shared care, bringing back the village through practical, personalized home support designed for real life.

Meet Liz

Originally from New York, Liz spent a decade in training, IT, and project management. Like many women in corporate America, she experienced burnout intensified by the pandemic. Determined to prioritize her well-being and redefine her path, Liz took time to reset. Traveling, reflecting, and reconnecting with loved ones.

During this chapter, she embodied Consuming Conscious. A personal philosophy rooted in awareness of how we spend our time, energy, and resources. It became the foundation for Mom Me Minute.

Encouraged by her sister, a postpartum doula, and guided by her own caregiving nature, Liz began offering in-home support for families navigating the demands of modern life. Those early experiences revealed a universal truth: everyone deserves help they can trust.

Today, Liz is exploring how thoughtful innovation and real human care can coexist to make everyday feel lighter, clearer, and more supported.
